This is my FAVORITE time of the year. Since we are building a house, we are downsizing gifts this Christmas. Jason and I are focusing more on creating special memories that will last a lifetime. Living in Collin County has it perks. One being that we have so many great places that help create the spirit of the holidays.
So in my search for the best places in Collin County to see holiday lights, I came across the Deerfield Homeowners Association in Plano. I also noticed that North Star offers carriage rides through the neighborhood. Last night, we loaded up the kids and headed to Plano. Let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint! Our driver was fabulous and very friendly. He had Christmas music softly playing and told us all about the homes and which light displays won awards. We spent one hour together laughing, taking silly pictures for Instagram and Facebook, and creating those cherished memories. We loved seeing all of the homes in the neighborhood that worked so diligently to bring their best version of the Holidays.
